One of the first things I looked for was the Virgo galaxy cluster- and it's hard to find! You need a chart centered on the space between Virgo and Leo- and that area of the sky needs to be somewhere other than buried at the absolute right side end of the scrolling index big chart- and even there it's impossible to tell where to tap! Perhaps the next iteration of the app can add a feature whereby if you swipe at the edge of the screen it will move to the adjacent chart.Īnother suggestion: Please shift the main index page over by a chart or two. Moving from chart to chart is well designed with buttons on the edges of the screen to go to the adjacent ones. Has nice touches such as a brightness slider & night mode always present discretely at the bottom left of the page. Like having Uranometria in your pocket! Amazing! Several suggestions.īrilliantly designed a tour de force in bringing the classic star atlas to the iPhone/iPad.
